Get to Know Us
Faith Lutheran is a small but vibrant congregation located near Sebago Lake in the Lakes Region Area of Maine. We are unique in our worship style using a variety of Lutheran Liturgies and interactive sermons. Each Sunday, music inspires, leading many to deeper places in their lives.
Whether you have questions of faith, are soul searching, or looking for an intimate setting to deepen your spiritual awareness, we invite you to join us and meet Jesus who feeds our hunger and quenches our thirst for life.
Faith is a member congregation of the New England Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.
Bible Study Dates and Times Announced

Our Women's Bible Study group continues to meet on Thursday afternoons at 2:00pm at the church. And, our Co-ed Dinner group meets on Thursdays at 5:30pm.
Feel free to join us, invite friends, or come again even if you haven't been in a while. It's a group that's easy to drop in on and doesn't require any special materials. If you are joining the Co-ed Dinner group remember to bring a couple bucks for pizza if you're able.
Essentials Pantry Donations and Volunteers needed
Last Saturday of each month
As part of our ongoing partnership with St Ann's Episcopal Church, we are seeking both volunteers and donations for the Essentials Pantry located at St. Ann's Episcopal Church. Donation items could include paper towels, shampoos, bars of soap, men's and women's razors, hygiene products and really anything else not covered by the Electronic Benefit Transfer program. Also, volunteers are needed for the following dates: April 27, May 25, June 29, July 27, August 31, September 28, October 26, November 30, December 28. All volunteer shifts start at 7:30 am.

Weekly at 8:45am
Every Sunday at 8:45am, before worship service, we gather for Intergenerational Sunday School. We follow the Faith 5 model: Share, Read, Talk, Pray, Bless. All ages are welcome. We hope you will join us for this special time of fellowship.

Pastor Jane Field

The Reverend Jane Field became the Pastor of Faith Lutheran in August of 2016. She received her Bachelor's degree in Economics and Public Policy from Kalamazoo College and her Masters in Public and International Affairs from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University. Pastor Jane received her Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary.
She also serves as the Executive Director of the Maine Council of Churches, an organization of nine denominations (including the ELCA) who seek common ground to work for the common good by inspiring individuals and congregations across the state to build a culture of compassion, justice and peace.
Her preaching style is informal and focuses on the power of humor and storytelling to convey the gospel message. She loves the beauty of the Lutheran liturgy with its focus on weekly celebration of the Lord’s Supper.

David Hansen
David Hansen plays from the heart. Each Sunday he ensures that the choir and congregation receives a weekly spiritual journey through music.
David has the ability to provide musical accompaniment that appeals to all. He engages each person, whether their taste be simple or sophisticated. David’s goal at Faith, is that each person leaves musically satisfied.

David Young Jr.
David is one of our confirmed youth at Faith. He is senior in High School and is a member of the Chamber Choir.
David is an accomplished singer and songwriter, having recently completed the recording of his first solo album. He plays guitar and harmonica during our worship services and often lends his voice to our choir.

Phoebe Johnston
Phoebe is also a confirmed youth member of Faith. She is a Junior in High School where she is active in the Drama program and the school's Band.
Phoebe is our lead vocalist during worship service. She keeps us all in tune and on time. She also plays the guitar and violin both during worship and for special musical performances.
